Recently I availed of CD Auctioneers experience in the housing market. The communication was excellent, I was kept up to date on every detail through out the sale. I sold a property in South Dublin through CD Auctioneers and dealt with Eamon throughout the whole process and despite the usual gnarly bits which Eamon sorted out very competently, I was very happy with the end result. Would I recommend? yes, without hesitation.

We were sale agreed for 3 months and it took the selling agent the three months and passing the given deadline (via a solicitor) to turn on the electricity in a home so we could test if the water pump worked upstairs. The selling agent was dishonest about the property condition, available documentation, and had no written comms track record. The sellers solicitor continued to push the sale despite the lack of documentation, which we were lucky that our solicitor caught as off behaviours. All in all, incurred financial and time loss. In todays market, the loss in surveyor fees, valuer fees, and solicitor fees was substantial to impact our following sale. Advice for any first time buyers, to only trust anything that is in writing from this agent and which has a full documentation trail.
