My partner and I recently purchased our first property with Nick through Sherry Fitzgerald. We couldn’t be happier with the service provided. I had dealings with Sherry FitzGerald Radford both as a vendor and a purchaser, paying close to €10,000 in fees to sell my own property through them before buying another property they were marketing. The sales brochure stated that the property was ready to walk into and that all integrated equipment was included in the sale, including a microwave and dishwasher. On taking possession, the house was not in a habitable or hygienic condition. I had to arrange an industrial deep clean costing €500 before I could even use the kitchen presses. More seriously, the integrated appliances listed in the brochure were unsafe or non-functional on first use. The microwave sparked and went on fire, and the dishwasher did not work at all, leaving me no option but to replace both immediately. This resulted in me being almost €2,000 out of pocket straight after completion. When I raised these issues and provided video and photographic evidence, the response I received from the owner was abrupt and dismissive. I was told that I should have had a structural engineer carry out these checks, which is both unreasonable and unrealistic. Structural engineers assess structure – they do not inspect cleanliness, open drawers for filth, test appliances, turn on microwaves or check whether dishwashers function. What was most disappointing was not just the situation itself, but the lack of professionalism and empathy shown when I tried to resolve matters reasonably. Based on my experience both selling and buying through this office, I would not recommend Sherry FitzGerald Radford to anyone considering selling or purchasing a property. I strongly advise future buyers to carry out exhaustive pre-closing inspections and not to rely solely on sales particulars.

We recently bought a house in Rosslare Strand and dealt with SF Radford. it was Nick Popplewell who handled the sale and from the moment we first met him viewing the house till the time we closed the sale we found him extremely professional to deal with. Friendly and courteous at all times Nick made this purchase very easy for us. If we needed information or something done all we had to do was ask. The staff in the office were also very friendly and professional - nothing was left to chance. We couldn't recommend Sherry Fitz Radford more to any prospective buyers!

We have recently sold our property through Sherry Fitzgerald Radford and could not be happier with the service. Nick Popplewell was very professional and helpful as were all of the office staff. He was always at the end of the phone and if unable to answer immediately always called back. It is one of the few services that if you have a query you can actually talk to a human being!!
