I recently purchased a house, with Helena acting as the Estate Agent. Though she was employed by the vendor, I found her to be courteous and helpful throughout the process from a buyer's perspective. She was fair, honest and very prompt at getting back to me on bids and counter-bids. She also acted very professionally in relaying information back and forth between myself, the vendor, solicitors, valuers and others involved in the process. Helena clearly worked to secure the best price for the vendor, but she did this in a candid and fair way that was at odds with my experiences with some of the other estate agents I encountered while on the house-hunting merry-go-round. Outstanding service from an excellent company. My very first dealings with Carol and Helena were professional, efficient, helpful and supportive and it remains this way to date. Any queries I had were dealt with promptly and answered efficiently and always in a personable tone. The property we viewed was beautiful and you can see that a high standard is imperative to this company as it prevails throughout. We are beyond happy with our new home! Woman waited with the door ajar when I called up. I had wanted to inquire about something in the rental space, I thought Fitz Chambers may be open to working with me as I had lived for a decade in a rented house managed by them previously and so thought maybe there was a history/relationship there that may justify a conversation more than 15 seconds long. Apparently not. The individual who met me at the door couldn't wait to close the door in my face, she probably had to get back to the kitchen to put on the kettle for the nth cup of tea of the day. I know what the rental situation is like in Dublin but when you're in a customer facing position you think you'd try not to be the opposite of helpful. Wasn't expecting miracles but was expecting to be given the time of day or for the person who met me to humour me and take my details for a future appointment or if anything that might suit me came to their desk that they'd at least pretend to keep me in mind. Awful, rude behavior. No one has come in the entire time I've been outside writing the review, best leave them back to their busy schedules. All the best.
