My partner and I rented an apartment in Dublin 8 through them. The monthly rent was €2280, and the deposit was also €2280. Initially, our impression was positive, but our experience took a turn for the worse. When we decided to terminate our lease due to job opportunities in another country, our landlord initially ignored our termination letter. After several attempts, she finally responded but seemed unaware of the Residential Tenancies Board (RTB) regulations governing the rights and responsibilities of tenants and landlords. She insisted that we pay agent fees equal to one month's rent plus VAT and retain our deposit, showing little willingness to reach an agreement. In response, we suggested finding replacement tenants, which she also rejected. We subsequently included Felicity Fox's agents in our communication. A Felicity Fox agent emailed the landlord, copying us, with the message: "I see the email from the tenants there. I would suggest just let them go. They are making a mountain out of a molehill, but they could become problematic. Let me know what you think." This kind of unprofessional email came at a time when we were actively trying to find a resolution with the landlord, which she often ignored. One day, a Felicity Fox agent arrived with a potential tenant for a scheduled visit but forced us to leave the apartment with our belongings, preventing us from speaking with the person. We went above and beyond by upgrading the furniture in the apartment due to its poor condition, replacing it with new items, which we left in the apartment. However, the landlord is now complaining about the furniture, specifically that a rug from the pictures is missing. It's worth noting that the contract's inventory lists only one rug. Several weeks have passed, and we are exhausted from pursuing our refund. The apartment was left in impeccable condition, and we have been exemplary tenants with no previous issues with other agencies or landlords. For instance, when we requested the correct keys for the mailbox upon our arrival, the landlord initially provided the wrong key. When we contacted her to rectify this, she consistently postponed but never delivered the correct key, leaving us without access.

We recently sold our house in Portobello with Felicity Fox. I really could not possibly recommend them highly enough. The reason we choose them as our selling agents was because we had such a great experience as a buyer. As buyers we dealt with Alistair and he was honest, responsive, very professional and put us at ease throughout the buying process. I'm happy to say that as sellers our experience was equally as good. We dealt with Emer this time and she was highly professional, knowledgeable and was so good at dealing with prospective buyers. She called us with feedback after every single viewing, kept us informed constantly throughout which made the whole process so much easier and less stressful. We have now dealt with Felicity Fox on both ends of the transaction - as a buyer and seller - and we really could not have had a better experience from another agent. If you are looking for a highly professional, highly responsive and knowledgable agent we simply could not recommend Felicity Fox highly enough. If you go with them you will not be disappointed.

Very friendly yet professional service, and we greatly benefited from their expert guidance throughout the course of the sale of our house. Their local knowledge, experience and client base in Dublin 8 was a great advantage, and I personally think Felicity Fox's graphic design is among the more attractive in the Dublin market. Selling my home of 30 years recently, what could have been a traumatic experience turned out to be as easy as it must get under the calm but assured steerage of Alistair.
